Guidebook through NorthEast Travel Agency search engine

In this blog we will describe all the steps you need to do to find a perfect sailboat or a motor boat for your dream vacation. So let`s start from the very beginning.

Guidebook through search engine

We are on the homepage of NorthEast Travel Agency, and the first thing we see is the search engine with four empty fields. The first field (from left to right) is “Captain, where to go? “. When we click on that field we have a dropdown menu with listed countries in alphabetical order where you can rent a sailboat or a motorboat. For this example let’s say we want to rent a boat in Croatia. When we picked a country we are moving on to the next field named “Type”. This field is for the type of vessel you want to rent. Some of the offered vessels are: catamaran, sailboats, gullet boats, motor boats and motor yachts. For now let’s pick catamaran. Next thing we have to do is to choose time period when we want to rent the catamaran in Croatia. When you have chosen for example from 15th June 2019 to 22nd June 2019 you can click on “Search” or on “Advanced Search” to see the offers for vessels available in that period. Since we know where we want to go for our vacation let’s click on “Advanced Search”. By clicking on “Advanced Search” our search engine expands and offers more possibilities in filtering our search. Now you can choose your “Sailing area”, where specifically you want to sail in Croatia. For our chosen country, Croatia, you can choose Istra and Kvarner, Kornati Islands, Split and Dubrovnik. This time we chose Istra and Kvarner. The search engine offers you a “Base”; that way you can pick your departure harbor.

In “Offer type” you chose if you want a one way route or a standard charter. “Service” applies on the search of the boats that have crew, and you can search the options they offer “Cabin charter” or “Flotilla”. In the next fields of this advanced search you can also chose “Shipyard” and “Model” of the vessel if you know exactly what you want.

These few next fields we are going to describe are actually very important in choosing your perfect vessel: “Cabins” and “Berths”. In one of our earlier blogs we explained how cabins on boats look like. Let’s say on our next vacation we are going to go with one more family, so it will be eight of us on the boat. That means we have to have at least four cabins.

The search engine offers you to search the boats based on “length”, “price per week”, “year”, also you can chose options as „air condition“<, „railing net“, „generator“.

Clicking on the “Search” button we are searching catamarans based on our wishes. New page leads us to listed boats with two more filters on the very top (“Sort by” and “in” – which order you want to see your listed boats).

The boats are presented in a way you can see the picture of the boat, and under it you will see where it is situated, your desired time of travel, year of production, length, berths and price. At the end of every offer you have two buttons “Details” and “Booking”. By choosing “Details” button we enter in deeper specifications of the chosen vessel, while clicking on the button “Booking”, new page opens with specifications and photos of the vessel, price and possibilities for extra questions like “stand up paddling”, ”blister/gennaker” etc. Filled personal data is used exclusively for reservations of the vessel.

At the very bottom of the page we have three more buttons and they are “Send offer”, “Open option” and “Direct booking”. By choosing “Direct booking” you will move on towards direct paying of the vessel with your card. Button “Open option” is very suitable for you if you have few more options; it is basically a unique service of partial reservation of the vessel for you for up to seven days. That offers a possibility to search other offers without getting worried that someone else in the meantime will reserve your vessel. Third button “Send offer”, usually our recommendation, offers a possibility of sending a question for the chosen vessel. Our expert team in shortest time possible will answer on your question and help you in resolving your dilemmas.

Other offers on the web page, such as “Last minute offers”, “Special offers” and “Our skipper team” are user friendly and we think it is not necessary to go into deeper explanations for them.

Sail away from safe harbor. Catch the wind in yout sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
