I am Mihael Zmavc, I'm passionate skipper coming from Pula and currently I am studying Marine Electronic Engineering and Information Technology at the Faculty of Maritime Studies in Rijeka. When it comes to my free time, spending it on sea means a world to me. Discovering hidden islands and bays while taking care of my guests is something that gives me true joy. Besides being one of my favourite activities, skippering also helps me finance my studies.

When did you start sailing?
As I was growing up, the sea has been my second home. This is why opted for the Faculty of Maritime Studies. My first saling experience was with my family at a very young age. Throughout the years, I have improved my skills and decided that I want to share my aspirations towards the sea and wind.
Which sailing destinations are your favourite?
My dream is to visit and explore all 1246 Croatian islands. Being responsible and a teamplayer are essential parts of the sailing culture and I am confident that together we will undergo an unforgettable adventure.

During winter I am studying Marine Electronic Engineering. Tutoring mathematics and physics aside, my great passion is fishing. Furthermore, I am an optimist who believes that the good sailor can always adjust his sail so that he has the prosperous voyage.
